Cliff J. Huang announced to the members of the
executive committee this week that the CEANA has recently been recognized
as a Tax Exemption Organization.
Cliff said "I am pleased to report to you
that, after a long year of hard work, the Internal Revenue Service has
approved the CEANA's application for recognition of exemption from federal
income tax under section 501(c) (3). This means that CEANA is officially
a nonprofit organization under the federal tax law. As a section 501(c)
(3) organization, all dues and contributions (bequests, legacies, or gift)
are tax deductible."
