The Association, founded in 1986 by a group of prominent Chinese economists, is a professional association and an official member of the Allied Social Science Associations. Our members are not only Chinese economists residing in North America, but come from five Continents and a diverse array of fields. The Association is a forum of communication and research among economic professionals in academic, government, and corporate sectors who share interests in economic relations among North America and China, Taiwan, and other Pacific rim countries.
