NAGLE TEXTBOOK EDITION COMPARISON
This year we have a new edition of our standard textbook, D. Brendan Nagle’s The Ancient World: A Social and Cultural History (sixth edition, 2006). The last four times I’ve taught HST 210, I assigned the fifth edition (2002). Some of you may have saved some money by buying/borrowing a used copy of the fifth edition. The content is more or less identical, so it is acceptable to use the older edition of Nagle for this class. However, the page numbers are different. The following chart gives you the reading assignments for the old and new versions of Nagle.
