Welcome to my webpage. I'm an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at Syracuse University.

My research interests are in economic growth, international economics, macroeconomics and their intersection.  I use theory and data to examine the determinants of economic growth and how international trade affects cross-country incomes. Overall, I’m interested in what the data tells us and the estimation approaches that I’ve used range from measurement to computation. Specifically, my work to date uses structural models to examine the quantitative role of equipment capital intensity and equipment trade in cross-country income, capital formation, and investment-specific technical change.

I have taught PhD core Macro-II, PhD elective Trade-II, PhD Economic Growth as well as international trade, economic growth, economic development and macroeconomics at the undergraduate level.
