My name is Seth Jolly. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. I received my Ph.D. from the Political Science department at Duke University in 2006. I graduated from Centre College in 1998 and worked for Toyota's North American headquarters in Cincinnati for two years prior to returning to school. At Syracuse, I will teach European politics, comparative political parties, and ethnic conflict. My main research interests are regionalist political parties in Europe, political institutions and political economy. More information on my book project and other papers can be found on this website. For a more detailed professional and academic history, see my CV. My wife, Gretchen, and I live in Manlius, a suburb of Syracuse. Gretchen is a Director at Fidelity Investments. She also graduated from Centre College and received a Master's in Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Gretchen and I are blessed to have 3 beautiful daughters, Brennan Elizabeth, Caroline Preston, and Anna Claire. We also are the proud owners of a rescued boxer/beagle mix, Bailey, and our very own wildcat, Caesar. |
