Health Services Management and Policy (HSMP) Advanced Certificate of Study

Why HSMP? Preparing for the Changing Health Care Environment

The HSMP program provides a framework to learn with and from professionals from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines, including medicine, law, management, and public policy. The 12-credit program of study for the Certificate prepares people to assume positions of leadership in health services management and policy settings.

The Certificate is available to both matriculated and part-time commuting students at Syracuse University.

  • Students enrolled in graduate programs throughout Syracuse University can earn an Advanced Certificate of Study in Health Services Management and Policy while completing the requirements for their master's or doctoral degree.

  • People living within commuting distance who have significant experience and/or education in health care management or delivery may also earn the Certificate as part-time matriculated students.
